Georgia EPD - Laurel View River Study Plan

 

A field study of the Laurel View River will be conducted to verify the steady state Georgia Estuary model (GA EST) that was developed for the determination of the Liberty County Development Authority wasteload allocation. A reconnaissance will be conducted in June 2009 to collect preliminary data about the system including tidal extent and channel bathymetry. In July 2009, a detailed field study will be conducted where water samples will be collected and water quality measurements will be made.
