Request for Applications for Switcher Locomotive Conversions

 

A first Request for Applications was released on April 23, 2011 for owners of locomotives operating in the Georgia Counties of Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett. Unfortunately, projects were not funded during the first round of applications. A second RFA with adjusted criteria is expected to be released by the end of March 2012 after contracting agreements are completed between the GA EPD and GDOT. RFAs are also expected to be released for locomotive conversions in Bibb and Floyd Counties.
